Trial!

Assuming the documents case gets to a trial, I find it hard to believe that Trump would be convicted.  A hung jury would be the most likely outcome.  No way that MAGA supporters wouldn't lie about being impartial to get on the jury.

Too cynical a view?  No, must realistic.

Catching Up!

Again, it has been a while since I posted something new.  I notice that each day I have something to say, an opinion, a comment, etc. but I don't post these thoughts because it seems to me that they will be redundant to what others are saying.  In other words they won't move the conversation forward and therefore why bother?

Bad excuse, I know, but that's the process I've been going through.

I continue to pay close attention to what's going on in the world and it continues to be a mixed bag of the good and the bad.  Politics, sports, wars, science, etc.  It is no surprise that the negative stuff seems to get the most attention, so for those of us who tend to see the world through critical eyes these negatives validate our assumptions about how things are going.

But still, I am interested.  I've commented earlier about how it is for me now that I have turned 90.  I have a limited future, and when I think about it I wonder whether I'll be around to see what happens with some of these events I'm following.  This thought leaves me annoyed and frustrated, since the future is beyond my control.

And as you know - I'm a control freak!
