Not Much to Say!

I haven't posted anything for a while.  Not much to say, I guess.  Or maybe I've had something to say, but haven't bothered to say it.  Or more likely, there is not point in trying to attribute reasons for silence.  The fact is, I haven't posted for a while and that's the only thing I know for sure.  So let's move on.

What's had my attention?  India.  The Covid catastrophe that is ravaging India is horrific.  As you know, I've had a long and close relationship with India, so what's happening has a personal impact.  Tragically, it is going to get worse, and helpless is my primary emotion.

Biden.  He is doing well.  The substance and manner of his leadership is a breath of fresh air.  I would bite the bullet and get rid of the filibuster roadblock.  Given the strength of the Republican opposition, keeping the filibuster will mean much of what Biden wants to do won't happen.

Football - the world's game.  I followed the Super League fiasco with interest.  A bad idea that quickly failed.  But don't kid yourself, some version of this will rear its head again, and money is the driver that will win in the end.  In England, Man City is king.  In Italy, Juve is having a terrible year.  Other perennial winners in Spain, Germany and France are being challenged, a good thing.

Covid.  I'm fully vaccinated and will slowly be a little more cautious than I've been for more than a year.  But it will be a while, maybe never, before life will be as it was pre-Covid.  No travel this year.  Maybe in 2022, but its too early to know about that.

And so, be grateful every day for your blessings.  I am!
