What caught my attention this week:

Brian Flores is suing the NFL for discrimination.  With 32 teams which have 58% Black players, there is 1 Black coach.  Something wrong with this picture?

A Tennessee school board says "Maus," a graphic novel about the Holocaust, should not be taught to 8th graders (or any students for that matter) because it has nudity and bad language.  Yeah, sure that's the reason.  Wasn't it the Nazis who banned and set fire to books in 1933?

The Republican National Committee says the January 6 insurrection was "legitimate political discourse."  I wonder what 'illegitimate' political discourse would look like?

More than 900,000 Americans have died from Covid.  Yes, among developed nations like ours we're #1.  Coming up soon: a million, mostly among the unvaccinated.

The Winter Olympics got underway in Beijing.  Yawn!

Pence disagreed publicly with Trump.  Who says miracles don't happen?

Lots of nice things being said about Jimmy Garoppolo by the Niners as they kick him outta the house.  Yes, Martha, it is a business disguised as a game.
